Spencer's 7 Stages to Creativity

I've been thinking a lot about creativity lately, partly because I listen to John Spencer's Creative Classroom podcast. I keep coming back to a recent episode: Seven Stages in Moving from Consuming to Creating

The big idea that we don't naturally just start with creating is a big idea. There are stages of development along the way. John is careful to point out that this is not a strict formula, and many of us skip steps on the path to creativity, but I think it's helpful in planning to scaffold for students to achieve creativity. I pulled some key quotes and added gifs to make the graphic organizer below to remind me what the 7 stages are. (All the writing is John's). What do you think - what stage am I in?
